Redesigning Interiors continues to grow and offer more opportunities to Redesign & Staging students, and homeowners & sellers, by welcoming Carie Baumann as our new partner! Carie’s creative talent, generosity, and passion is evident to everyone she meets.
"Sometimes all you need is some fresh inspiration to fall in love with your home all over again… or make others fall in love with it.” This is Carie’s philosophy when working in her client’s homes, either for redesign or resale. Formerly a Registered Nurse/Nurse Practitioner by training, Carie’s lifelong passion for decorating and design prompted a career change in 2004. This passion, along with her personal experiences in building and remodeling her own homes inspired her to start her own interior redesign and home staging business, Fresh Redesign. Carie believes everyone deserves to have a beautiful and functional living space, no matter what their style or budget. Most recently, her passion for redesign and staging has led to the addition of Certified Trainer to her list of services. Her redesign, staging, and training services are offered throughout the greater Tucson and Phoenix areas.
Carie is a Charter Member of the Society of Decorating Professionals (The SDP), nationally certified in Interior Redesign, Home Staging, and as a Redesign and Staging Trainer. Among her many speaking engagements, Carie was recently featured as a guest speaker at The SDP’s 2006 Conference in Erie, PA. Her talents and expertise have also been showcased in The Arizona Republic, The Arizona Daily Star, Sonoran Living (live television), and on Tucson radio.
A native of Minnesota, Carie has enjoyed the Arizona lifestyle since relocating in 1995. After many years in Phoenix, she now resides in Tucson, AZ with her husband and four children. She credits her love for redesign and her business success to both her supportive husband and family, and to Kristine Porter and Jane Douglas, her mentors and trainers.

| Phyllis Anderson |
Phyllis’s passion for color and understanding of how home environments can create harmony, joy, and happiness in life is what lead her to our 5-Day Class Redesign class last April. Her passion and talent for design developed over several years, sparking when she worked with an architectural firm and designed her own new home. After that home was completed, Phyllis kept busy helping friends and family choose color palettes, paint walls, and decorate their homes.
Her love for color and transformation, as well her extremely thoughtful and caring attitude towards others has served her well. Prior to her redesign training, Phyllis was an Independent Sales Director with Mary Kay Cosmetics, Inc. for 19 years. Over time, she discovered a natural connection between the art of skin-care/make-up and interior redesign: both make people happy and give them a positive attitude. Although very successful with Mary Kay, Phyllis knew she had to follow her dreams. After researching the industry, it took nearly 2 years before she found herself enrolled in our 5-Day Foundations class. Like many of us, she found it difficult to take the time to do something for herself. Just one week after completing her training, she was working on her first redesign project! With the help of her talented husband, Phyllis specializes in custom graphic-design inspired artwork that is created and hand-painted for each individual client.
